LocateHistory is a free, hobby-made history-guessing game. Playing it means you agree to the following, which is intentionally short because the site itself is simple.
Using the site
LocateHistory is provided "as is," for entertainment, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or that it'll always be available. It's run by one person as a side project, not a company — there's no support contract behind it.
The historical images
Every image is sourced from Wikimedia Commons and used under its stated public-domain or open license — the exact license and source link for each one is shown after you answer that round. See the README for how images are curated and attributed. If you believe an image is used incorrectly, raise it on the issue tracker and it'll be looked at.
No warranty
The site is provided without warranty of any kind. It's not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it — which, for a free guessing game with no accounts or payments, should never amount to much.

These terms may change as the site does. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
